I currently serve as a Board Director at Beechworth Health Service, a Small Rural Health Service located in Beechworth, Victoria. I contribute to the strategic direction of the organisation and ensure sound clinical governance is upheld.

The Centre's mission is to improve communication with and participation by consumers and carers, through evidence-informed policy and decision making. During my time at the Centre, I was involved with the 'Communicate to vaccinate' project (www.commvac.com), which aims to build the evidence regarding the effectiveness of parent-provider communication in improving vaccination coverage rates, specifically in low- and middle-income countries. I co-authored a systematic review entitled "Face to face interventions for informing or educating parents about early childhood vaccinations."I also managed the Health Knowledge Network, which is the knowledge transfer arm of the Centre. I developed summaries of Cochrane Systematic reviews and disseminated these summaries to a network of policy makers and clinicians.

During my time at the Alfred Hospital I worked as a nurse in the Cardiothoracic unit.
