I am a recent graduate of Linfield University with a degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, looking to pursue a career in research. I have experience in microbiology research from my freshman and sophomore years in college working one-on-one with Dr. Jeremy Weisz at Linfield University. The summer after my Junior year, extending through my senior year in college, I was an intern working on a project at the OHSU Knight Cancer Research Institute, studying the RUNX1 mutation of Familial Platelet Disorder associated Acute Myeloid Leukemia. I worked in Dr. Anupriya Agarwal's Lab under her PhD student, Mona Mohammadhosseini. I am now working at the Oregon National Primate Research Center - OHSU as a research assistant at the Infectious Disease Resource. Through this role, I work hands-on with the non-human primates, collection samples and providing therapies for viral, bacterial, and parasitic diseases.
