While enrolled full time, worked with a research team dedicated to forest elephant conservation achieving increased public outreach and a new fundraising program that generated $3000+ during the first campaign. Also created and edited content for the website and social media account and wrote a short children’s book about elephants for educational outreach.

Chang Mai, Thailand

I was an intern for two months on an Elephant Reintroduction program in rural Thailand. I conducted elephant health checks and collected and recorded data on social behavior and food consumption. I also gave presentations to volunteers on elephant biology, health check protocol, and research papers. I led volunteers on hikes for elephant observation.
