Supports the President and COO including handling all scheduling, travel, and expense reports. Plans and executes logistics for special events such as Board Meetings and Staff Retreats. Responsible for leading office administration via coordinating all organization-wide meetings and communicating with staff, board, donors, volunteers, vendors, and business relations. Takes minutes and acts as liaison to facility management. Maintains confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.Provide further support to Operations, Finance, and Fundraising.

Worked for Stray Cat Alliance for their I Spayed LA program and Safe at Home program. Work consisted of planning and assisting with trap-neuter-release of feral cats in South LA, intervention in kitten surrendering at the South LA Shelter, and other administrative duties. Oversaw staff scheduling and managed 20+ fosters. Was the liaison for the ASPCA South LA Shelter and a veterinary clinic.

While enrolled full time, worked with a research team dedicated to forest elephant conservation achieving increased public outreach and a new fundraising program that generated $3000+ during the first campaign. Also created and edited content for the website and social media account and wrote a short children’s book about elephants for educational outreach.

I was an intern for two months on an Elephant Reintroduction program in rural Thailand. I conducted elephant health checks and collected and recorded data on social behavior and food consumption. I also gave presentations to volunteers on elephant biology, health check protocol, and research papers. I led volunteers on hikes for elephant observation.
