Bourne Valley Garden Centre was taken over by the Longacres group in July 2023, after which time the role expanded to include large scale signage creation and working with the concessions across the Longacres group. Core responsibilities included: Day-to-day management of the company e-commerce site and social media platforms (including Facebook twitter and Instagram), creating customer e-comms via the platform Mailjet, co-ordinating local print and digital advertising, producing customer newsletters, creating in-store POS, managing the annual programme of events, working with local charities and working with key stakeholders within each department to produce Reward Card offers for customers and promote the business as a whole.I use Canva on a daily basis, in addition to Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and other design tools for work on social media, enewsletters and print media. I take the majority of photographs used in social media posts myself, having studied photography at University.
