We work to reduce both youth unemployment and the global talent shortage by partnering with locally run organizations in low-income communities, building a pipeline of specialized talent, and leveraging a network of employers that provide insight on skills in demand and opportunities for graduates.

- Led Kiva's strategy for deploying risk-tolerant capital to impactful & innovative organizations throughout Latin America, the Caribbean and Southeast Asia.- Managed a $5M+ portfolio of 24 investment partnerships with social enterprises, nonprofits and financial institutions in the region.- Identified and expanded internal and external systems for the collection of baseline and M&E data toward better understanding and maximizing impact.- Evaluated and assessed the impact of each partnership and for the overall Kiva Labs portfolio.

- Managed recruitment efforts and recruiting partnerships to attract qualified and diverse candidates to the Fellows and Intern programs- Supported the end-to-end management of each program cycle, including screening, interviewing, hiring, training and offboarding of ~30 fellows and ~100 interns per year - Liaised with internal stakeholders to identify and fulfill needs, coordinate ongoing feedback loops, design and implement two intensive week-long fellows trainings, two intern trainings and 50+ professional development workshops per year to provide a positive program experience- Conducted regular data analysis and tracking of key metrics to evaluate the impact and effectiveness of both programs- Maintained and innovated on knowledge management systems and processes to boost the operational efficiency of both programs- Provided high quality and prompt customer service for prospective and active fellows and interns- Supervised multiple interns and supported their professional development over the course of their six month internship

• Monitored and evaluated 30+ partner nonprofit organizations (NPOs) through field visits to assess organizational management, program effectiveness, financial transparency, community impact and validity of crowdfunding projects • Empowered over 150 potential and current nonprofit partners through 8 online fundraising workshops in 6 South American cities• Managed multiple projects simultaneously including coordinating site visits, leading workshops, developing and adapting communications strategies in Spanish and Portuguese, building relationships with strategic partners, fielding customer service questions, evaluating current partners’ programs, and supporting potential partners through the application process• Collaborated across organizations to design, plan, develop and execute an experimental workshop, attracting 40 effective nonprofit organizations to the event• Liaised between GlobalGiving’s team in Washington and our nonprofit partners on the ground

• Propose and establish strategic partnerships with organizations who have nonprofit connections in Latin America in an attempt to further GlobalGiving's reach in the region and acquire more Latin American nonprofits on the platform • Conduct one-on-one Skype and phone consultations with nonprofit leaders in Africa, Asia, Europe and the United States to advise them on expanding their donor base, storytelling effectively and strengthening their online fundraising strategy• Co-create a web page using HTML code containing learning tools for nonprofits to learn about crowdfunding and developing an online fundraising strategy• Analyze survey data from past online fundraising campaigns to evaluate GlobalGiving’s impact, and provided recommendations to increase their effectiveness • Respond to customer service calls and email requests efficiently through the use of Salesforce

• Prepare event materials, collaborated with staff, and hosted a Brazilian delegation for an annual research symposium • Manage the email and contact database, and updated all social media platforms, website and WordPress daily• Research, draft reports, translate, edit & co-author publications with the Director of the Brazil Institute

• Systematize cataloguing processes for the center’s data entry systems and research recent events and the history of U.S. – Brazil bilateral relations to be published in a bilingual Embassy publication• Assist with event logistics and prepare program materials for the unveiling of an English Library donated to a local Brazilian school by the Public Affairs and Diplomacy section of the U.S. Embassy
