Public Affairs Specialist
CurrentLeading day-to-day technical and operational aspects of web program for public-facing and internal websites, including:-Coordinating site operations and maintenance; -Defining requirements for web development and system enhancements based on usability best practices, user analytics data, and accessibility standard;-Troubleshooting issues/bugs; -Testing; and-Ensuring usability and accessibility (508 compliance) of websites.Overseeing work of contractor developers and technical staff;Serving as a web project manager to plan, direct, and coordinate work of interdisciplinary teams assigned to web projects to ensure that objectives are met and a high degree of effectiveness is maintained;Providing expertise and advice to web managers regarding technical and operations issues;Coordinating web product development plans and schedules, and advises OPA staff on product planning, development, design, and implementation. Works closely with web content managers and other stakeholders to manage the web product development process and associated activities;Serving as liaison between OPA and other AO offices on hosting, security, and infrastructure support of AO and court websites and online applications;Providing court and OPA staff with resources; guidance; training; and general support for web communications;Independently researching and evaluating new and emerging methods for web product development and web project management;Coordinating continued web team implementation and improvements to development and operations (DevOps), continuous integration, and change-management procedures.
