Responsible for overseeing and optimizing the production planning processes for all domestic and international products by leveraging Supply Chain Engineering, Inventory Management, and Lean techniques. *SAP Super User for the Production Planning group during transition from multiple legacy systems to an integrated SAP system in January 2015*Valued member of blueprinting team for SAP system development to define supply chain requirements with IT consultants*Self-taught enterprise planning software, TM1, to reduce production planning group’s dependency on IT resources*Develop and maintain an IBM TM1 model to generate yearly pack requirements for seasonal Fruit, Tomato, and Vegetable business units using rule-based logic. The tool reduced the work done by production planners from 3 weeks to 1 week.*Define and manage optimal inventory targets at distribution centers to satisfy sales requirements while accounting for transportation costs and constraints, distribution center space capacities, and production capabilities at source plants. *Lead cross-functional team on multiple Lean Value Stream Mapping exercises to understand the non-value added work within the Supply Chain Operations organization: Pack Planning, Labeling Planning, Remanufacturing, and Transportation*Develop and maintain Excel based reports used by leadership teams to understand and mitigate supply chain inventory risk
