With 25+ years’ experience, recent successes include constructing and leading PMO's for clients, growing clients’ project management discipline by improving process, coaching/mentoring project managers, delivering programs to align operations with corporate strategy, and leading teams through organizational change. I believe my fervor for being a life-long learner and seeing the value in not only doing projects right, but doing the right projects strongly connects me to my work and is the fuel behind my professional dedication. As I continue to learn about the latest trends through activities including those with our local PMI chapter (former board member) and continue to apply newly acquired skills and information in my daily work and speaking engagements, I continue to drive myself to provide a culture of "project excellence" within the organization for which I am working.The value of my work can be measured in the contribution to the strategic plan, and often a positive cultural shift that I can drive in a project/program management team. I've become a strong mentor because I also instruct new professionals in the project management field onsite with clients and through Ryerson University. My passion drives me professionally, and teaching at Ryerson University is an extension of my work and keeps my knowledge current.
