Hi, I'm Natalie, a full-stack developer in Portland passionate about continuous learning and problem-solving and AI solutions. I currently work at Argyle Build Inc., a startup shaping the future of construction tech. I lead the backend development using Azure Functions in C# and oversee the web portal built in JavaScript and React. Recently, we hit a major milestone by releasing our app on the iOS store, and seeing users enjoy our product has been rewarding.What excites me most about the construction tech industry is how we integrate cutting-edge computer vision to improve construction workflows. It’s incredible to see how our technology enhances the efficiency of construction sites. Additionally, as the head of security, I’ve been deeply involved in building a secure cloud environment and leading our SOC 2 certification efforts. Security is the sum of all its parts, and ensuring nothing is overlooked has been a key lesson for me.With a background in Public Relations from Appalachian State University, storytelling, and customer experience are central to my work. I focus on clear, easy-to-understand messaging, brand consistency, and creating a product that resonates with our users. Every time we secure a new customer blown away by our technology, it's incredibly satisfying.When I’m not coding, I’m likely at my partner’s ceramics studio, Radius Arts, where I love working with clay.
