Natalie became the UK's first specialist fertility lawyer while working at Lester Aldridge and before leaving to start her own niche firm in May 2009. She acted for the parents in the leading case of Re X and Y (2008) the first international surrogacy arrangement ever ratified by the UK court. She was also heavily involved in the passage of the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Act 2008 and was a prominent voice advocating the rights of same sex parents and on surrogacy.
