In this role, I was responsible for facilitating virtual school work provided by the children's teachers and supplementing the aspects of their education that were unavailable because of the COVID-19 pandemic. I encouraged them to make healthy lifestyle choices with meals, exercise, activities, etcetera. Additionally, I provided music and language education for the children. In the summers, I focused on material that may not be included in their typical coursework, putting together worksheets focusing on female role models throughout history and similar topics, as well as finding ways to encourage social and emotional development. I also continued their language and music educations.

As chapter members, we were focused on scholarship and philanthropy. I attended study groups put on by the organizations, as well as philanthropic events. This included events like the Red Dress Gala and Mac n Phi's, which raised money for women's heart health, as well as Humorology, which raised money for a different cause each year. Additionally, the organization provided me with countless leadership and networking opportunities, connecting us with both a local and national community.

In this role, I was responsible for organizing and executing all of our chapter's social events. I have two committees of about 10 people, under me, one that assists me in planning our social events, and one that is responsible for deciding if a member will receive a punishment for infractions. I am also responsible for monitoring all 213 member's social media to ensure that it is in line with our organization's rules and values.This position provided me with a peek at the necessary bureaucracy of large organizations. It also gave me an excellent understanding of the importance of rhetoric, diction, and good leadership.

I was responsible for monitoring involvement for our chapter's 227 members. Through the app we used, I kept track of things like service hours, attendance and study hours. I attended weekly executive board meetings and all chapter meetings, as well as attending all of the other events hosted by the chapter.

In this position, I am responsible for making guests feel welcome in our center. I greet guests as they walk in the door, answer the phones and do general computer work, and make sure the center is always sparkling. I was also responsible for onboarding new staff members.

I worked here for multiple summers, organizing the office, files, and online paperwork. I spent one summer creating an online database of client information and past projects. I also created yearly financial recap projects and marketing materials. I used Spanish and English for this position.
