As a research assistant in the Center for Neurological Restoration, I investigated interdisciplinary research related to neuropsychology, neurosurgery, personality, and ethics. I coded with Qualtrics, REDCap, and Epic for projects and datasets pertaining to personality and neuropsychology. I was responsible for study coordinator tasks such as recruitment and data input. I also drafted our findings into posters and manuscripts and presented at national and international conferences including The BRAIN Initiative 2022 and the International Neuroethics Society Annual Meeting 2022.

As a research assistant in the Charles Shore Epilepsy Center, I utilized programs such as REDCap and EPIC to code patient data into a central biorepository.

As a Research Student, I investigate interdisciplinary research related to neuropsychology, neurosurgery, personality, and ethics. My responsibilities include coding qualitative personality data collected from participants and assisting in the administration of a battery of assessments to deep brain stimulation patients. As a Child Care Worker, I provided support and guidance to severely traumatized children and adolescents. I assisted youth in emotion regulation and prosocial behaviors, and implemented Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to aide children in coping with trauma.

As a recipient of the Colleran-Weaver Fellowship, I conducted an extensive review on the psychometric properties of a series of health questionnaires in a population of young adult college students. Specifically, I focused on the increasing psychopathology levels among this population and addressed the need for measures validated specifically for young adult college students.

I worked in an outpatient setting with children diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and other comorbid disorders in order to develop and reinforce their social skills. I modeled the implementation of specific language and a token economy to help assist newer undergraduate aides in this type of intervention.
