I'm a Registered Dietitian specializing in athletic & cognitive performance nutrition.During my time with UCLA, I've played a key role in the initial and ongoing development of a comprehensive nutrition program for BrainSPORT, a sports concussion clinic, and for Operation Mend's BRAIN ITP - an intensive treatment program helping post-9/11 veterans who experienced traumatic brain injuries receive evidence-based, holistic care.By combing the the science with athlete & patient experience, preferences, goals & needs, I work with an interdisciplinary team to help individuals successfully implement personalized nutrition plans that are practical, sustainable, and effective.

I founded my private practice, Gavi Nutrition, as a result of combining my passion for sports and nutrition. During my time with Cedars-Sinai, I provided Medical Nutrition Therapy for patients on multiple units of a 958-bed hospital including the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, pediatric medical unit, pediatric ICU, medical ICU, cardiac ICU, Neurology, Medicine/Surgery, Oncology, and Transplant.
