Co-founded and co-directed an interdisciplinary research centre - the Centre for Place and Sustainability Studies - with the Canada Research Chair in Environmental Education at Lakehead University. Engaged collaborators across the university and Thunder Bay to imagine and enact initiatives to enhance sustainability in Northwestern Ontario.
