It was sold to NetDragon in 2018.As a PM at Edmodo, I led strategy & development across the product and owned the roadmaps for most of the product at different points in time - leading both enterprise solutions and classroom tools, as well as implementing international and strategic partnership-driven projects. Every day I worked with in-office & international engineering teams in agile development, and worked cross-functionally to design & implement products that help millions of teachers & students.Highlights:- Reimagined our premium offerings and created a global strategy. Led the development of new products for Schools, Districts, States, and Educational Organizations. Launched Edmodo for Organizations with Sinadep, the largest teachers union in Mexico.- Partnering with Cambridge University Press brought our formative assessment tool, Snapshot, to the UK market. - Responsible for localization of entire product suite, used by millions of users worldwide.- Integrated Office Online, allowing any teacher or student in the world to create & store files for free.
Project Manager
Led Edmodo's bid to develop the "Student Learning Space" for the country of Singapore, a Tender/RFP from the Ministry of Education. Briefly lived in Singapore in order to work with our partner, NCS, to develop a comprehensive proposal. This work included strategic positioning, scoping the product, writing hundreds of user stories, determining all resourcing needs & pricing models for a 7 year development & operational period, and being the point of contact between our partner and the Edmodo office. This continued through many phases, including a presentation in Singapore to the Ministry of Education, as Edmodo was shortlisted for further rounds of consideration.
