Responsible for managing the Legal Operations advisory practice in EMEA and Asia Pacific, this role managed a book of business (responsible for more than 50% of the revenue of the business) and a team of consultants often working on highly sensitive critical engagements globally. This team was responsible for engagements spanning a number of services including: facilitation, mentoring, review and roadmap, project audit, practice management system replacement/remediation, business intake and conflicts/walls system replacement/remediation, conference speaking and thought leadership. Responsible for managing the delivery of high profile implementations of Intapp Time, Intake, Conflict, Walls and Integrate across a number of client sites globally which were inflight and struggling to meet deadlines or cost/quality expectations. This role gave me a great opportunity to build relationships across firms including Corrs, Gowling WLG, Freshfields, HSF, Deloitte, Matheson and Dentons.

Responsible for establishing legal operations redesign methods and disciplines across the firm. It was created as part of the initiation of the firm's Programme Management Office.

Responsible for overseeing the working team of 12 who were tasked with critical remediation of the firm’s Elite 3E implementation, which was deployed with numerous critical issues around functionality, data and performance. The team was tasked with developing, testing and deploying robust solutions to business problems to critical legal user facing financial processes. Responsible for system specification, working with key stakeholders to redesign key business processes, developing an advanced test strategy for future Elite 3E upgrades and ultimately improving adoption of the technology across the business.

This role was instrumental to the initiation of a central programme management office at McCullough Robertson. Key responsibilities included:developing processes to ensure oversight and controls were in place for major business change;prioritising and focusing resource on critical enhancements;engaging with the business to ensure all business requirements were appropriately elicited, prioritised and viable solution options understood; andvendor engagements were managed via a central point and formal RFP/RFI processes were followed.

Primarily responsible for management reporting and analysis and systems management including maintenance of the practice and case management software at McCullough Robertson. My role was also heavily focused on business improvement projects with an aim to improve efficiencies and profitability for the firm.
