Retained on a Consultancy basis via Scala, as Marketing Director and Executive Committee Member advising on all aspects of strategic marketing for Chambers.

Natalie was appointed Marketing Director for Park Lane Chambers (a barristers Chambers based in Leeds) in September 2004. At that stage Chambers had just under 40 Barristers. It was an innovative and bold step for a Barristers Chambers to appoint a Solicitor to help them develop their business. It also worked! Natalie was in charge of managing and implementing all aspects of business development and marketing of Chambers across its key practice areas; personal injury & clinical negligence; family; chancery & commercial and employment. Her background as a qualified solicitor enabled her to bring a new perspective on the service Chambers provided its solicitor clients. She enabled Chambers to change it's image and clients perceptions and helped to set a new standard to which other Chambers aspire. In October 2007 Park Lane Chambers merged with Plowden Chambers (Newcastle) to become one of the largest sets on the North Eastern circuit with over 80 Members. During a very short period of only 2 months she planned, co-ordinated and implemented marketing initiatives associated with the merger, including re-branding, writing and development of a new website and PR activities. She continued in the post for over a year following the merger, during which she assisted in establishing a cohesive approach to business development initiatives in the newly merged set.

Natalie practised as a Solicitor in the Insurance department as a defendant personal injury specialist. She worked for a variety of insurance companies, including Norwich Union, Zurich and Royal & Sun Alliance. She specialised in employer liability, public liability and RTA claims. She handled multi-track and fast track cases and undertook advocacy at inquests and interlocutory hearings.

Predominantly undertook work in the civil department including contractual disputes and personal injury claims. Natalie was responsible for running her own case load under the supervision of a Partner.
