I worked closely with Mr Ainslie to establish his office – helping to set his strategic priorities, develop policy ideas, and manage a multi-platform communications strategy to promote his public profile as a new MEP in the lead-up to Brexit.

In October 2018 I relocated to Brussels to assume additional responsibilities assisting Ms Lambert in her work on the European Parliament’s Civil Liberties, Justice & Home Affairs Committee.

I was responsible for building communications strategies encompassing elements of traditional, digital and social media to promote Jean Lambert MEP's public profile. This included working closely with civil society organisations to amplify their campaigns within the European Parliament and beyond.

I played a key role in the establishment of Refugee Rights Europe (formerly Refugee Rights Data Project), including contributing to the organisation's objectives and strategy. As well as co-managing international field research projects and drafting /editing segments of analytical reports, I devised communications strategies to secure coverage from international news outlets including the BBC News channel, France24, The Telegraph and Al Jazeera.
