-Plan and administer all fundraising programs and activities of the Family Support Center- Develop and execute a comprehensive annual fundraising and development plan- Develop new and innovative marketing and fundraising strategies/programs- Cultivate volunteer support; recruit and train volunteers as needed-Supervise college level interns and AmeriCorps VISTA member- Research and write funding requests to foundations, corporations, individuals, organizations, and other prospective donors/funders -Offer creative and active leadership for the organization at large

- Recruit, train, and orient volunteers and interns to support the operations of the Family Support Center programs. -Coordinate volunteer staffing of overnight homeless family shelter, including emergency resource hotline staffing and backup. -Match volunteers with identified tasks/volunteer roles based on their interests, experience, level of commitment and availability.-Maintain volunteer schedules and ensure necessary volunteer roles are filled. -Document and log volunteer/intern hours; complete volunteer hour certification requests, intern evaluations, and exit interviews with volunteers to evaluate the volunteer program.-Coordinate volunteers and interns for the Thurston County Family Justice Center, including training specific to domestic violence advocacy. - Provide domestic violence advocacy and crisis response as needed.- Coordinate domestic violence advocacy and collaborative community response for survivors, including court accompaniment, filing of protection orders, supporting through making police reports to law enforcement, and ensuring proper followup occurs. - Research and identify applicable community groups, events, and meetings to attend with the purpose of recruiting volunteers, increasing agency visibility, and providing direct resource information to clients. - Work with Case Management staff to ensure concerns and challenges with shelter residents and volunteers are resolved and addressed in a timely fashion.

● Establish rapport with guests, providing friendly, consistent, high quality service● Manage all front of house crew during shift, including controlling labor and responding to crew and/or guest needs● Complete monthly inventory, track monthly purchases and invoices, input daily server reports ● Responsible for all social media interactions, including Facebook and Twitter; compose monthly letter to guests using Constant Contact, respond to all email correspondence and online reviews

● Provided intensive case management, consistent advocacy, referrals, and follow up for youth and families affected by domestic violence● Supervised part time and full time staff, coordinating on-site childcare activities and scheduling of staff● Co-facilitated and coordinated 4 weekly domestic violence education groups for teen girls in area middle and high schools● Established and maintained relationships with key personnel at schools and social service agencies to benefit client needs● Facilitated public education presentations for various audiences on the topics of domestic violence and teen dating violence● Answered 24-hour crisis hotline, completing shelter assessments, providing referrals to appropriate services, and acted as backup support to shelter staff

● Coordinated two Peer Education Programs dedicated to the topics of relationship violence and sexual assault● Trained student educators to be experts on the topics, including public speaking and presentation skills, active listening, and how to respond to disclosures● Taught one hour workshops in dorms and various classes as requested ● Coordinated the college’s annual Clothesline Project, including scheduling speakers, organizing t-shirt making times, hosting event, and supporting students and staff attending the event ● Participated in the Sexual Assault Response Team with college deans, police, nurses, and advisors dedicated to providing referrals, resources, and advocacy for any students affected by sexual assault
