This role oversees and executes the overall management and strategic planning associated with the human resources function of City First Bank. Primary duties include the following:Policy development, implementation covering all human resource functions Strategic planning to insure maximum employee participation, development, growth and productivity. Compensation – Establishes the bank wage and salary structure, pay policies, and oversees the pay systems within the bank including bonuses and merit increases; leads participation in salary surveys as needed.Employee Relations - Serves as advisor and counselor to management and employees regarding career path development, employee performance measurement and evaluation; manages disciplinary actions.Compliance – Insures CFB compliance with government labor and other requirements associated with EEO, ADA, FMLA, ERISA, OHSA, TARP; and any regulations that affect compensation; maintains minimal company exposure to lawsuits.Benefits Administration - Obtain cost effective, employee serving benefits; monitors benefits environment for options and cost savings; recommends changes in benefits offered as needed aimed at employee satisfaction and retention; evaluation of employee benefit plans and compliance testing for needed plans. Employment – Development and management of staffing functions including recruitment, hiring, pre-employment screening, promotion, separation, as well as employee orientation, development, satisfaction and retention programs; write job descriptions and administer competency testing.

Responsible for all Human Capital related functions across the bank. This includes management, strategy and oversight of staffing, recruiting, employee relations, training, compensation and benefits, as well as any compliance related matters. Also includes business unit collaboration to support bank wide performance improvement in support of strategic objectives.

Developed and delivered employment and human resource related services to the Bank and its affiliate to include recruitment/staffing, customized training and development, employee relations and compensation and benefits consultation.

Delivered human resource expertise in the area of staffing, benefits/compensation and employee relations services to select business units.
