As a University of South Florida Co-operative Education program student, I supported the MITRE Tampa site as a junior member of the technical staff. My duties included hardware and software support of x86, Macintosh, and UNIX workstations and servers. I assisted in the operations and maintenance of the site Local Area Network (LAN) including the local website. I also assisted staff with technical projects in Virtual Reality Markup Language (VRML), digital video markup, and panoramic image software for USSOCOM. I provided formal reports detailing this work to the USF career office for degree program credits. During semesters that I was ineligible for course credit, I continued this work on a part-time basis.
