Secondary Mathematics Teacher
CurrentTeaching various math courses, inclusion, regents, and honors, including 7th grade, Foundations of Math Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, and Advanced College Prep Algebra. I spearheaded a movement to improve student performance in Math. By implementing the use of innovative technology in the classroom, students enhanced their engagement and understanding as well as improved performance on assessments. This result not only demonstrates my ability to deliver curriculum, but also adapt to meet the specific needs of my learners. Impressed by the dramatic results, administration swiftly adopted my teaching approach as standard practice. I then played a pivotal role in training colleagues on their new methods and engaging devices. This movements success resonated through the district, solidifying its place as a cornerstone of our educational approach.
