Facilitated Starbucks’ operational investment planning process during a significant shift in corporate strategy, allocating a budget of $2B toward new enterprise initiatives for “Reinvention Plan” by consolidating 200 project requests and working with finance leadership to determine prioritization based on projected financial and strategic impactsDeveloped North America segment P&L forecast to project ~$4B in operating income by gathering financial data from 10 cross-functional teams and presenting highlights to leadership, thus setting annual business and bonus targets Hosted meetings of 40+ finance partners to discuss monthly and quarterly financial results and crafted the financial story to present to finance leadership via business reviews, and to prepare for the quarterly public earnings call

- Completed a 10 week internship on the U.S. Retail Operations Finance team at Starbucks- Worked on several projects involving financial analysis of the U.S. Company Owned Starbucks stores- Main intern project was to complete and present a cannibalization analysis of Starbucks stores to leaders at Starbucks- Learned to work cross functionally amongst several finance and operations teams at Starbucks, while maintaining strong relationships within my own team and with other interns- Refined professional skills by using programs such as Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, and Skype for Business

-Reported to the VP of Fresh Procurement and Marketing, completing 3 long term business development projects, as well as inventory analysis and marketing/advertisement tracking projects-Completed weekly stock replenishment requests across two separate banners, with 50+ remote store locations that have logistical complications, and worked within a multi-level supply chain to secure in stock position of “fresh” categories (Meat, Produce, Bakery, and Deli).-Utilized advanced Excel skills to create a tool for category managers to track ad sales, which linked to POS data bases and refreshed on a weekly basis, allowing for decision making using relevant data
