I have worked in IT recruitment for almost 7 years, all of which has been with Lorien, following a year of travel around South East Asia, Australia, New Zealand and Fiji. I worked within the corporate accounts team as a Team Manager and Senior Account Manager of KPMG focusing mainly on Perm appointments, I am capable of covering a range of IT disciplines from software and web development, infrastructure, databases, testing and IT management as well as business focused roles and finance and even Submarine Engineers! Three years ago I changed direction to take on a new challenge, when offered the opportunity to become an onsite Partner at Monitise, that being successful and something I thoroughly enjoyed due to such hands on client engagement, I was requested to start an onsite function in London at RBS, where I have been for almost two years.Throughout my time I have placed a large number of permanent candidates within our Blue-chip clients exceeding target every year. These roles vary widely in both technology and industry from board level to support and admin staff within the media and financial world.My success comes from being able to identify what my client/ customer is looking for and the skills that a candidate needs to possess as well as personal fit within the organisation. I would say that success is also down to me as an individual, I am keen to succeed in all that I do, and no role is too tricky and certainly won’t let it get the better of me.And now a complete change, I work for an online company, Silkfred.com as part of their Customer Service Experience team, assisting with all their needs, which fits around my need as a mum to be home with my children. My role is based fulltime from home, plugging in daily with my team and crossing over to work aligned and offer the best service we possibly can. On a personal level I am a sociable, hard working, enthusiastic and extremely motivated person.
