I oversaw curricular design and faculty recruitment for 7 online and in-person courses designed for transfer students and students in their junior and senior years of college. These courses ranged in topic, but centered around leadership in different affinity groups (Women, LGBTQ+, Latinx/a/o, and others). I have designed curriculum for and taught multiple courses surrounding leadership theory, social justice, community service, and acclimating to college while coordinating with partners in the Greater Orlando area to source relevant community service and internship opportunities for students. I have also collaborated on assessment programs to determine program effectiveness.I communicated frequently with internal and external partners to expand our program's reach through targeted recruitment initiatives, particularly UCF's Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) Initiatives Office. In collaboration with this office, I presented at the Summer 2023 Faculty Development Institute regarding culturally competent classrooms. Additionally, I collaborated with HSI Initiatives and Amazon to pilot a Latinx/a/o Leadership category for our annual Social Change Research Showcase, where students identified a social change issue and presented research-supported solutions to improve it.I trained and supervised 4 undergraduate and graduate staff in overseeing our recruitment efforts, and I have designed training modules targeted toward early level professionals on reducing bias in the recruitment process.

I designed and taught curriculum surrounding reading skill retention to a consistent audience of 10-12 students in 5th and 6th grade. Additionally, I developed training modules for a paraprofessional staff member I supervised surrounding classroom management and student support.

In this role, I assisted in maintaining a high-touch office environment that included email and phone management. I also everaged my community connections to provide personable and supportive customer service to parents and families of students in a K-12 setting. I accurately maintained databases with confidential student records and volunteer information. As a passion project, I worked with internal and external partners to provide weekly food packages to at-risk families in our district for over a year.

In this role, I directly managed a college dormitory housing over 500 international and domestic students I hired, supervised, and cross-trained 19 staff members who both worked in my own building and 1 staff member who oversaw a separate building. As part of this role, I lived on-site and served in a 24/7 on-call duty rotation.I developed and led employee training programs on topics including: peer leadership, crisis management, student support, and inclusive practices. Additionally, I created a multi-tiered training project surrounding fire safety and emergency practices.I additionally managed multiple projects end-to-end involving event management, building opening and closings, and building maintenance projects. I collaborated seamlessly with internal and external partners to develop curriculum in the VCU Globe Learning Community surrounding global experiences in and out of the Richmond, VA area.

In this role, I lived on-site and co-managed 6 different college dormitories with occupancy ranging from 450 – 900 students. I hired, supervised, and cross-trained 30+ front desk staff and 20+ staff members who worked in my own building to provide support to college students.I directly managed multiple projects end-to-end involving admission tours, building-wide inspections, and event planning.Additionally, I worked to recruit multiple levels of staff through conducting candidate research, phone screenings, and panel interviews. I directly hired and processed HR paperwork for staff as well.

I developed curriculum for and taught an inaugural semester-long course over themes of identity, privilege, and global/community responsibility. In this role, I was fortunate to supervise a staff member in grading student work and handling confidential information. I communicated with internal key stakeholders to provide tangible feedback regarding the course's curriculum and success.

I transitioned mid-academic year to directly oversee operations of a residence hall housing over 250 upper division students. In this, I directly supervised 8 staff and directed training programs over soft skills including time management, HR processes, and managing concerns. As a passion project, I served on Leadership and Civic Engagement Committee to evaluate residential leadership initiatives. In this, I piloted the Inspire Retreat, a redesign of a two-day initiative that connected students and community partners for soft-skill training.

I worked directly with clients through advising the Ladies Against Social Stigmas (LASS) and King’s Court student affinity groups. Additionally, I trained and oversaw the CONNECTIONS Pre-Orientation students and peer mentors in the college transition I managed multiple events, including a Networking Night event to connect underrepresented students with SUNY ESF alumni and two Open Mic initiatives that highlighted artistic expressions around diversity and inclusion. I also coordinated educational site visits for SUNY ESF students with local cultural centers in the Syracuse community.

I designed curriculum for and led the Counselors in Training program to promote peer leadership for children ages 14-17. In this, I utilized leadership assessments such as Strengths Finder to develop teen leadership. I additionally oversaw other staff and evaluated them through HR-led feedback session.
