LovinYou is a health and well being company that inspires and empowers women of all shapes and sizes to become healthier version of themselves. To help women on their 'well being journey' LovinYou connects them with a nutritionist, yoga instructor, life coach, a personal trainer and 24/7 online support through their online portal. At LovinYou as the in-house public relations manager, I managed all media relations, brand management, and generated top-tier coverage in major newspapers, online and magazines. I also managed all social media campaigns on social media platforms Tumblr, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. My job also included managing LovinYou's partnerships and events. At this role I was also in charge of creating opportunities for affiliates (yoga instructors, life coaches, personal trainers and nutritionists), securing brand ambassador (Sandy Ray and creating a social media persona for her), brainstorming social media and video campaigns, filming brand videos and partnership management. As a brand manager I also maintained relationships with LovinYou's affiliates. This included managing expectations, interviews and handling media enquiries and opportunities. As a sales manager I was in charge of all affiliate sales, reported sales data, updated and created database of current affiliates. This role included making cold calls and converting inquiries into sales.

Tweed Daily News is a daily newspaper serving Tweed Heads, New South Wales. I was offered the position of journalist after completing a three month internship with Tweed Daily News. I reported on local stories and I was responsible for writing two to four stories a day. As a journalist I was required to write, research and pitch stories with a local angle that appealed to Tweed Shire residents. Please note this was a contract position and was offered to me on a one month contract. It was later extended to two months.

BayKids is a non profit company that empowers children facing serious medical challenges to express themselves through the art and magic of filmmaking. In this role I was in charge of organising volunteer orientations, volunteer activities and events. This included briefing the new volunteers about their roles at BayKids. One of the most rewarding parts of this job was teaching children about the film making process and helping them create their own videos at Children's Hospital Oakland and UCSF Children's Hospital. Another element of this role was archiving footage into Excel documents and editing children's footage in Final Cut Pro. 10 Years at CHO (below) was chosen for the Children's Hospital Oakland's annual film festival.
