Natalie worked as an ecological consultant at BSG Ecology between 2007 and 2016. The projects Natalie was involved in required her to assess the ecological constraints and opportunities likely to arise from development, including those in relation to designated sites and protected species.Working for BSG Ecology helped Natalie to develop strong project management and communication skills allowing her to co-ordinate and deliver detailed survey programmes, to assess the field results as they emerge and to communicate these and their implications to the client team in an accessible manner that is effective in shaping scheme design.At BSG Natalie worked closely with statutory authorities, project managers, planners and engineers on a range of development related projects. Her advice supported successful planning applications for large and small scale schemes, and also informed BREEAM and Code for Sustainable Homes assessments.
