I’ve worked as an ecologist since completing my Masters in Wildlife Management and Conservation in 2005. Following 12 years of experience in ecological consultancy, I now work for local government, providing internal advice on planning applications. I’m a full member of Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (MCIEEM) and a member of the Association of Local Government Ecologists. I’m a keen field ecologist and have a particular interest in surveying for reptiles and amphibians, bats and invertebrates. I hold Natural England Class Licences for great crested newt and bats. I volunteer for GirlGuiding UK and assist with running a unit and organising events.
