Max Hypermarket’s operations in India are growing rapidly and raise interesting challenges in career.• Litigation: Attending Courts on regular basis, Appearing before Ombudsman, Consumer forums, other regulatory authorities on need basis pleading, drafting, investigative acumen.• Transactional: Interpretation, drafting, Review of Agreements, Regulatory orders, empanelment, bills, Property documents, agreements etc.• Legal review of distribution arrangements and agreements, including review of renewals, agreements, and channel due diligence• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements, including confidentiality, service and supply agreements• Provide legal advice on employment, real estate and corporate matters arising in India like;• Retail issues• Management of litigation matters in India • Regulatory and licensing issues• Responsible for drafting and reviewing various consultancy, research, sponsorship agreements to ensure compliance with policy and applicable laws• Provide education and guidance of employees and partners on Business Conduct Guidelines, policies; review of appropriate interactions with professionals; assist with development of internal policies and India law requirements• Special projects as assigned by General Manager Legal & Complaince Show less
