Senior Network Engineer - Data Center, Cisco ITCisco Systems via Goldstone Technologies Ltd.• Handling day to day implementation/operation activities which included, Creating L3,L2 Vlans, Trunking, creating port-channels on Nexus 7K,5K and UCS, creating port-groups, port-profiles on N1K, configuring Server Load Balancers both local and Global for applications, applying and updating the Access list both at the SVI and firewall.• ACI Migration Project: Part of core Design and migration team of engineers involved in movement of applications from traditional POD architecture to ACI fabric, this requires collaboration with application teams, understanding the dependencies and touch points, designing the Tenants/AP/EPG and building the Contracts to rightly provide/consume to allow the traffic flow between internal EPG’s and external EPG’s.• NetScaler Migration Project – This involves phase wise migration of Global deployed Application to NetScaler VPX solution in APAC & EMEA.• Worked on enabling new features on Nexus H/W like VPC, VDC and managing and troubleshooting existing features like OTV and Fabric path.• Fleet Upgrades Projects and New DataCenter Foundational builds wherein we implement new network additions, removal, and modification for different Data Centers of Cisco Systems which includes Nexus Physical switches (7K,5K,2K) ,Nexus 1110-X VSA ,Nexus 1000v.

• Exposure to planning, scripting, risk analysis & implementing changes on the network devices.• Troubleshooting & Configuring load balancing in F5 Load balancers, Bluecoat Proxies, ASA & Checkpoint Firewalls & cisco routers & switches.• Managing a global network operations center, which consists of 12000+ devices (routers, switches, Loadbalancers, Proxies, Firewalls etc.). The network consists of a heterogeneous device environment.• It consists of proactive monitoring, troubleshooting and managing the network spread across the Globe.• Finding root cause of any network outages, working on corrective & preventive actions, resolving issues with latency & utilization.• Direct interaction with customers and various service providers across the globe such as AT&T, Verizon, C&W and with hardware vendors like Cisco.• Usage of Monitoring tools like HPOV for monitoring traffic and generating utilization reports.
