My responsibilities include:Managing the permanent collections to Accredited Museum standards, researching and organising two temporary exhibitions per year (including securing funding) managing the daily running of the Museum including budgets, leading the marketing of the Museum and events via a range of media including website, project blog, press releases, posters, flyers, contacts with the media. Recruitment and management of permanent and part time staff and team of thirty volunteers. Current projects: "1914-1918 Richmond at Home and War" (developed, submitted and won a bid for a grant of £37,350 from the Heritage Lottery Fund to undertake the project, project management of the 15-month project working with other heritage and history organisations and community groups -including recruitment and evaluation)Re-branding of the Museum: initiated and developed a new logo, new website (to launch mid- December 2014) and uniform marketing approach for promotional materials such as flyers and posters.Initiated and developed longer-term planning of future exhibitions and integrated funding approachInitiated and developed new partnerships for future exhibitions and projectsUndertook a review of daily financial administration in conjunction with the Trust TreasurerInitiated and won new funding for Museum education activities such as a Young Curators GroupDeveloped a rolling program of internships
