About Natascha Borgstein, Msc

Graduated Cum Laude from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands August 2022 with a MSc in Marine Biology following the 2-year Research Track program. After graduating I worked as a Research Assistant as a part of the Groningen Institute for Evolutionary Life Sciences (GELIFES). I am now living on Curaçao as an underwater photographer, while keeping ties with Groningen by finishing up some research manuscripts from during my time working for GELIFES.I completed my Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology in May of 2019 from the University of Rhode Island with Honors and minor in Leadership Studies. I graduated Summa Cum Laude. Between my Bachelor and Master programs I completed an internship at VIP Diving on Bonaire, Netherlands Antillies to obtain the PADI Divemaster Certification. Certifications: PADI Dive Master, Enriched Air Nitrox, Emergency Oxygen Provider, Primary and Secondary Care CPR/AED/First Aid. Emergency First Response Instructor: CPR/AED/First Aid-Infant/Child/AdultResearch interests and focus: Coral reef conservation and ecology
