My work focused on legal advice to GE Corporate and its businesses operations in Latin America (i.e. GE Renewables, GE Aviation, GE Oil & Gas, GE Power, and GE Healthcare). Advice on strategic EHS matters, including environmental compliance, communication with regulatory agencies, M&As, liability, litigation, audits, risk assessment, advocacy, decommissioning of operations and remediation.

In the Policy Department of eclareon GmbH I worked with legal and policy issues of the integration of renewable sources into the European Market and the development of climate policies in the 28 Member States.I was inter alia responsible for the planning and implementation of a key project on behalf of the European Commission (DG Clima) and was involved in other energy-related projects funded by the European Commission (DG Energy), the German Energy Agency (DENA), the Federal Ministry of Environment (BMUB), and the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ). My work focused on strategic planning and contact with key clients andstakeholders in the private and public sectors.Additionally, I acted on business missions to Portugal (2012) and Brazil (2013) by order of the Renewable Energies Export Initiative of the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi).

Comparative Climate Change Law. Brazilian and Latin America Climate Law.

I worked assessing climate policies from Parties to the UNFCCC and the Kyoto Protocol, as well as possible legal frameworks for a new climate agreement. I also worked on the design of new market-based mechanisms. During the climate negotiations in Bonn, I was part of the German delegation and the European Expert Groups on Flexible Mechanisms (EG MEX) and Legal Questions (EG LEX).

Lawyer in Brazil advising clients on environmental requirements under Brazilian laws and international standards. Member of the Brazilian delegation during the Fifteenth Conference of the Parties (COP 15) in Copenhagen (2009) and member of the German delegation during the UN Climate Change Talks in Bonn, Germany (2011).
