I passionately believe in empowering women with the confidence they need to create their best selves. As CEO of Two Hundred Doors I have fostered a culture that helps my team of around 50 women, 100+ customers and suppliers believe in themselves, motivating them to achieve their greatest potential in business. Believing that learning is power, since completing my Skin Therapist Diploma and University Degree, I have gone on to do a number of courses including The Icehouse Owner Manager Programme and a Diploma in Health Coaching from The Institute of Integrative Nutrition NYC. I work with business and personal development mentors, helping to drive the business forward, and ensure I am at my best and resilient. The number one used professional skincare brand globally, Kiwis have had access to Dermalogica since 1993 thanks to Two Hundred Doors – who were one of the first companies to be granted permission to distribute Dermalogica outside of the USA, and we continue to be one of the ‘best in class’ markets. 2021 saw the launch of a nationwide recycling programme in partnership with social enterprise, Sustainable Salons. In 2019 I founded Skintopia in Old Bank Arcade, Wellington, a results-driven skin treatment salon that combines my passions and challenges the status quo of ‘beauty salons’. Skintopia focuses on skin health, wellness, sustainability and customer service; offering a contemporary, innovative and holistic approach in professional skincare and skin concepts. In 2020 the second location opened, in Auckland’s premium shopping precinct, Commercial Bay and a third location is set to open in late 2021. Passionate about beautiful, healthy skin with minimal impact on the earth, I have built my entire business around helping my clients and staff help their clients to achieve this. I have a hands-on approach and surround myself with talented people, with an incredible SMT. I am a risk-taker - I am not afraid to make mistakes, as it’s better to have tried and failed, than not tried at all. Most importantly, I am not afraid to challenge the beauty industry status-quo.
