Awarded a $500 grant to research and execute sustainable fashion practices as a part of the GripTape program to promote youth-driven learning. Developed a mock business plan for a sustainable crocheting venture to sell self-made crochet garments, pitching the plan to entrepreneurs at the conclusion of the program. Launched and managed an Instagram page to showcase handmade crochet garments. Through consistent posting over the course of the program, this page gained the attention of patternmakers, resulting in sales and an increased following.

Awarded full merit-based scholarship from the United States Department of State to serve as a youth ambassador in the Republic of North Macedonia. Fostered cross-cultural understanding through immersive experiences: living with a host family, attending a local high school (Josip Broz Tito Gymnasium), and engaging in cultural exchange by studying Macedonia. Volunteered with the Red Cross and American Councils to assist local community members in need through trash cleanup efforts and creating care packages for families in need.
