This includes print strike-offs, proto samples and pre-production samples, while simultaneously ensuring all fits and fabrics are to the highest quality and to spec. Created and set the Seasonal Line Plans resulting in the merchandise assortment offering for each collection. Implemented and controlled the operating procedures for all facets of manufacturing; including the creation of the Technical Packs and measurement specs. Also managing the sampling / bulk production and raw material critical paths for both on and offshore. Managed the import / export of all bulk production with Freight Forwarders. Travelled to China to source factories, fabric and raw materials, along with price negotiations with vendors. Oversaw all print strike-offs, proto samples and conducted fittings for all samples. Booked and managed the timelines and shipping around all bulk production.

In addition, created, implemented and managed seasonal company calendar across all departments. Initiated the move from Vietnam to India manufacturing. Responsible for sourcing seasonal fabric & trims and new offshore suppliers, on a needs basis. Executed each style with the factories ensuring the products were of a high quality and within the measurements set. Placed seasonal buys with suppliers locally and offshore and negotiated on all FOB’s and Ex-Factory dates to ensure in line with the company’s Calendar.

Drove the production process from initial line plan, design concept to delivery, ensuring product was delivered to spec in full and on time. Hired coached and directed a 5 person team of Design Manager, Design Assistants, Purchasing Manager & Production Manager. Implemented and monitored the critical path, delivery schedules and seasonal calendar’s for all departments. Implemented extensive tracking reports for all Departments. Managed all garment fittings, ensuring all facets of the garment were as fitted to spec and all design details were as Tech Packs, to ensure the highest quality was met. In addition, held responsibility for all raw materials and stock inventory within the business, making certain all purchase orders were placed on time. Managed the business's final margin within budgets set. Contributed to resolving quality and delivery performance issues with operations and sales team to ensure superior results.
