A new and exciting role within North Tynside early intervention psychosis team as a new addition to psychology providing wellbeing focused psychological interventions to those struggling with psychosis.

Providing up to 12 weeks of 1-1 intense support to those who are in a crisis. signposting and referring service users to appropriate long term services and providing the necessary tools to manage and navigate there lives positively in the future.

I provide 1 to 1 psychosocial support behavioural and cognitive intervention to clients who suffer with substance misuse. I provide relapse prevention also to client who have achieved abstinence. I work as part of a multidisciplinary team of doctors, nurses and other recovery coordinators. Brief intervention and prevention work for clients who do not meet the threshold for structured treatment for substance misuse. relapse prevention, psychosocial interventions using a cognitive behavioural approach are used to help the individual identify trigger and work towards there individual goal. This role has also involved working with other care professionals such as socal workers, probation, charity's, the RVI, and support workers.

Event planning and assisting management for Relevent student events such as the project conference, open days and the graduation ball. Conducting surveys and focus groups around student community and communicating effectivly with the psychology department and monitoring there social media communication.

Answering or signposting students in face to face or telephone quiries. Selling a range of products including events that are held at the student union and society memberships. Answering emails by students and external organisations. Updating spreedsheet information of individuals who acsess the foodbank service. Directing students to the academic and acsess to learn advice team. Finally I also bind documents such as a students dissertation or thesis.
