Accurately forecast projected new students on a periodic basis for Campus Admissions Head. Nominated and selected to be Argosy University’s Public Relations Committee Representative for the Sarasota Campus, within the nation wide system of universities.Selected by the Senior Director of Admissions to represent Argosy University at a variety of community outreach events to assist with student recruitment spanning across the state of Florida.

Director of a faith based after-school and pioneer summer program with an emphasis on music education. Obtained class C CDL license to provide transportation within program budget constraints. Coordinated all program recruitment and advertising, scheduled multiple weekly music lessons and field trips and supervised a team of volunteers and staff. Worked closely with the Pastor, board members and church staff to create an exciting, educational program while working with a tight budget and fulfilling grant requirements.

Supervised the general operations of nine after school sites in the Binghamton area for children ages 5-11 and managed a team of 25 staff and 30 volunteers. Worked cooperatively with staff to provide high quality programming including art, physical education, science and homework assistance. Ensured that each site complied with the New York State regulations of the Office of Children and Family Services.

Assisted the Unit Director with daily operations of including the supervision of program areas and coordinating the meal and orientation programs. Planned, scheduled and supervised a total of 30 field trips for children ages 6-18, serving an average of 125 members enrolled in the summer program. Worked cooperatively with program staff to build a high quality curriculum while fulfilling grant requirements and emphasizing Boys and Girls Club values.

Directed an after school and summer program for children ages 5-15 at a Boys and Girls Club satellite site, including supervision of two staff members. Supervised new member recruitment and planned all enrichment programs such as arts and crafts, cultural education, science and cooking lessons.

Worked in various classrooms throughout the district on a daily basis as a substitute for the classroom teacher. Implemented lesson plans created by the classroom teacher. Supplemented teacher’s plans with original lesson plans and activities as needed.

Acted as ambassador to the public as part of a team of Humane Society representatives at the local PetSmart adoption center. Matched potential families with adoptable cats and saw the adoption process though from first introductions to finalizing paperwork. Sanitized cages, monitored animal health, maintained veterinary records and transported adoptable animals from the shelter to the adoption center. Fostered cats in need of extra care and attention including sick kittens and nursing mothers until they were ready for adoption.
