I am an enthusiastic, motivated and dedicated RNLD. I strive to ensure my practice is evidence based, within the NMC code of conduct at all times and is person centred to the patients / service users I work with.I have experience in LD / MH services as a staff nurse. However for the majority of my career I have worked with people with complex health needs and learning disabilities. I expanded my knowledge and skills to progress to a service manager and clinical lead. I have also been a registered branch manager for two services; specialist mental health care and domiciliary. Whilst in management positions I have achieved NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management along with ILM 3 qualificationsI have worked in the community as an immunisation nurse. Within the role I delivered the flu vaccines to school aged children and Covid vaccinations to the eligible population.I have also spent time delivering training to care providers around Autism, Learning disabilities and Challenging behaviour.I am currently working in the community as a clinic lead overseeing support being provided in the community for people with complex health needs.
