As Marketing Director I oversee the strategic direction for marketing, provide leadership to the marketing team and play a key role in developing collaborative working practices across departments.

Worked with the new Chief Marketing Officer to build expanded and restructure the Marketing team. Evolved role taking on the responsibility of co-leading Stylus' Marketing department, overseeing external-facing brand strategy and execution across PR, Partnerships and Social Media. Line manager to Marketing Executive.

In addition to devising and executing Stylus' global PR strategy, I took responsibility for the direction and planning of Stylus' social media activity and strategic partnerships - executing 20+ partnerships in 2019 alone.

I joined Stylus to set up the in-house PR function. Coverage wins spanned BBC News, Channel 4, HuffPost, Forbes, Drapers, Business of Fashion, I-D, Drapers, The Drum and Food Dive.

Velvet provides public relation and marketing services for agencies and other suppliers across the full range of marketing disciplines.Highlights within this role included developing and executing a consumer research survey and campaign in just 48 hours to react to the news agenda. The story achieved trade and broadcast coverage.

Clients included leading ad industry agencies DDB, LIDA, M&C Saatchi and Tribal DDB, providing copywriting services and sourcing opportunities in the trade and national press.
