This was a temporary post where gained valuable experience working in a school environment.

I spent 3 months on work experience placement at Bradford Forster Academy. Here, I was able to conduct my own career guidance interviews with year 11 students and help with the organisation of year 10 work experience. This placement was completed alongside my study of Career Guidance & Development MA and therefore aided me in both my reflective assignments and my professional development.

I completed a five week placement at Prospects in my second year of undergraduate study. I gained invaluable insight to the role of the Careers Adviser as I was able to shadow several different people in the profession throughout many schools across the Bradford district.
