Creative at Passion Raw, the live action division of the Oscar award winning production company Passion Pictures.I was responsible for all pitches going out from our company which in turn facilitated new work with advertising agencies and global brands.The main focus of my job was to analyse scripts and liaise with directors and producers: translating their vision in inspiring, thought-provoking films. Researching and designing bespoke striking treatments at such an in demand company has enabled me to operate competently under pressure, within tight deadlines and high turnaround speeds.I undertook a breadth of different work from researching, treatment design, comp work, style frames, retouching, creative writing and film editing.Some of the campaigns we released during this time were for McVitie’s, Samsung circle, VW, Adidas and Centraal Beheer to name a few.

Researching trends and designers, attending and reporting on press previews as well as picking up and delivering garments to various locations.Runner on shoots for magazines such as Love Magazine, where I got to work with Katie Grand and SHOWstudio working with Nick Knight.Filmed for Nick Knight on live shoot streaming live on SHOWstudio.com. This fashion film was a collaboration between Marian Newman, Nick Knight and Alexander Fury.During this time I also ran a successful Visual Arts and Fashion Blog. I designed and photographed my own fashion shoots, reviewed the latest art shows and films together with the latest cultural events. The growing popularity of this site gained me press coverage of upcoming seasons fashion collections from high street brands such as New Look to catwalk press invites to high end designers such as PPQ.Not only did this help me pursue my love for writing, the experience refined my critical assessment of art and lead to networking opportunities within the fashion and film industry

Researcher/ Creative Assistant for international live action production company Passion Raw (Passion Pictures). Worked both on set and pre-production on commercials for brands such as VW, Coca-Cola and Metlife. I have also had direct input into various music videos such as Rizlab for Ghostpoet ‘Trouble’, designing treatments and providing creative concepts. High levels of organisational skills were necessary along with team-work and creative ingenuity.This position was taken on in my final year of uni, after I graduated I went onto work for Passion Pictures full time.

Working with a large and diverse team, from sound technicians to performing artists, in a hectic and lively environment has enabled me to comprehensively deal with the internal works of a large-scale production.Highly attentive customer service necessary with high profile guests often in attendance. The theatre itself sat 850 people so being calm and in control of large crowds was essential. At least five shows were in production a day and each had a tight turnaround of a maximum of one hour. During this timeframe we had to get the audience out, the set changed, auditorium cleaned, complete a sound check and usher the new audience inside. This means that I had to be competent at working under pressure, communicating effectively with a large company.Occasionally working behind the bar when staff was short helped add another dimension to my work skills.
