I am the News Editor for two community newspapers. I write articles, make contacts and manage two teams of journalists.

I design newsflashes, do content gathering and managing for the internal newsletter. I manage the digital mass communications system. I do photography and design work, manage calls en help organise functions.

In 2012 I was promoted to Social Media editor for the Potchefstroom Herald, Carletonville Herald and Northwest Gazette. I was in charge of all the Social Media Pages, Competitions and Blogs. I also kept on writing for the newspapers and helped out with the layout.

I started at the Potchefstroom Herald in 2009 as a Page Layout Artist and was in charge of the layout of three weekly newspapers (Potchefstroom Herald, Carletonville Herald and the Northwest Gazette). I drew up the dummies and did content management and editting. We also had special monthly features of which I was in charge. I attended functions and covered stories of which I took the photos and wrote the articles.

In 2011 I started working as a Sport Journalist for the Carletonville Herald. I was in charge of collecting information and photos for articles as well as writing and editing of articles. I continued to help out with the layout of the newspapers.

At Sign Master I was in charge of all design and Illustration work. I was in charge of the printing and cutting. We produced billboards, lightboxes, cut outs, screen printing, banners. Stickers were done for billboards, posters, vehicles and all advertising materials.
