I graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy. I began my career as a rotational Physiotherapist within the University Hospital Southampton NHS Trust. Here, I gained experience in all core settings of Cardiorespiratory, Neurology and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. I am currently employed by Optimal Clinic as a Physiotherapist and Business Development Coordinator. I have lived and worked in Dubai for 6 years; previously working as a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist at the Dubai Physiotherapy & Family Medicine Clinic, where I treated various musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. Within both clinics I have used a combination of therapies such as manual therapy, electrotherapy and exercises, in order to achieve patients’ goals. I remain up to date with evidence based practice through continued professional development. I have previously undertaken a Kinesiology Taping Course, an Advanced Women’s Health Course, Level 1 and 2 of the APPI Matwork and Pre/Post Natal Series and the OMT Spinal Manipulation Course. More recently, I completed a Shoulder Rehabilitation course and ‘The Female Athlete’ Course. I am eager to continue developing my treatment skills and apply up to date research techniques to my everyday practice. I have successfully completed a Health and Nutrition Coach diploma through the Integrative Institute of Nutrition. I have learnt the value of nutrition and health coaching for each individual, as well as the importance of primary and secondary foods to fulfil ones' needs. I believe this diploma has assisted me towards a more holistic approach to all treatment and each individuals’ wellbeing. I am enthusiastic, hard working and dedicated to providing safe, effective, patient-centered care.
