Natasha Katrina’s love for hair and makeup started at a young age, always drawn to playing dress up, getting caught in moms makeup bag, and finding any excuse to put rollers in her hair. Musical theatre and performing arts quickly became a part of Natasha’s life, a way to creatively express herself. Though acting, singing, and dancing didn’t shine, her backstage love for costume and makeup always stole the show! Natasha Katrina has been developing her artistry in both hair and makeup for several years and the passion for what she does beams from within.After graduating from Florida State University and Industry Makeup Academy, she continued to pursue her love for hair and makeup in a professional setting. Born, raised, and currently residing in Miami, Florida, Natasha Katrina is a bilingual artist who draws inspiration from Kevyn Aucoin, Pat McGrath, and Bobbi Brown. She highlights and enhances natural elements of beauty while always keeping an iconic and classic look in mind. While she enjoys having the opportunity to participate in the creative direction process, she is also a strong team player and has been described by clients as a “dream on-set” and “far exceeds expectations”. The infamous DORAL Golf Resort & Spa Miami property has been purchased by the Trump International Hotel Collection. The property will undergo an 18 month renovation to bring it back to its glamorous status. This resort has a little bit of everything within its operations and working in the Sales department has provided me with great insight of the Trump Hotel Collection. My primary role within the sales office is administrative support to Small Group Sales, Large Group Sales, Transient Sales, Catering Sales, and everything in between. I deal with various things within the office on the clerical side and also with individual sales managers to keep track of clients and perform necessary follow up procedures when needed.

Project event budgets and create profit charts for the 27th annual Career Fair which brings in over 30 recruiters. Coordinate student ambassadors and volunteers to execute tasks associated with the event and to promote maximum attendance for hospitality students. Establish relationships with vendors and industry professionals in order to finalize contracts and registration procedures.

For the past three semesters I have volunteered with the Food & Beverage Management class at Florida State University. We work with hospitality students to introduce specific skills such as menu costing, purchasing/receiving, food production, FOH/BOH protocol, and fine dining service procedures.

I work with students in this introduction to Catering Management. This semester my focus is in FOH service and protocol but I will be switching to BOH service and protocol in Fall 2011.
