• Participated in the development and implementation of a data science strategy aimed at facilitating the use of internal and scientific data across the CSA and by external users (government, academia, industry, etc…).
• Liaised with and provided support for data-centric projects with other groups at CSA, including Open Government, Space Operational Medicine, Space Utilization, and Human Resources.

• Served as an in-house liaison between the Canadian Ice Service (CIS) and external clients, primarily the Canadian Coast Guard (CCG).
• Worked on board Canadian Coast Guard icebreakers in the Canadian Arctic, the Saint Lawrence River, and Atlantic Canada as well as in CCG Regional Operations Centers in Montréal and St John’s.
• Produced tactical sea ice condition charts based on visual observations during helicopter and ship-based ice reconnaissance missions.
• Provided expert advice regarding sea ice and weather conditions to a variety of stakeholders, including CCG, scientists, and the maritime industry.
• Gained extensive experience interpreting remotely sensed data, including RADARSAT Constellation Mission (RCM), RADARSAT-2 and Sentinel-1 radar images and MODIS multispectral imagery.
• Worked as an educator on board Students on Ice’s 2019 Arctic Expedition – representing CIS and leading a sea ice outreach and education program.
