I am eagerly looking to start my career in a field where my academic interests, skills, and experience can be applied as I finish earning my bachelor's degree from Towson University in International Studies. Helping others, serving communities, and expanding multicultural communication and acceptance are all objectives I hope to pursue within my potential profession. For this reason, I am seeking full-time or part-time employment related to, but not limited to, human rights, non-governmental organizations, international affairs, government agencies, and education. I am currently located in Manhattan, NY, where I will be available for both in-person and remote work.I have been employed at a variety of customer service jobs since I was a freshman in high school. Not only did I learn to have a commendable work ethic from a young age, but my curiosity and drive to learn new things awarded me the ability as an adult to quickly adapt and thrive in a number of different work environments requiring a diversified set of skills. I have completed a 150-hour BridgeTEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) course that qualifies me to teach English in almost any country in the world. From March to August of 2023, I lived as a foreign exchange student in Tokyo, Japan and attended J.F. Oberlin University as a full-time student. Since returning to the US, I have focused on finishing my degree while refining my teaching skills by working with elementary students with a wide range of educational and developmental needs. I am currently looking for new employment where my skill set will allow me to continue learning about the world and experience new things, while providing meaningful services that hopefully bring people, communities, and cultures together.
