A unit of the University System of Georgia, the University boasts 300-plus student organizations, outstanding Division I athletics and state-of-the art residence halls and campus facilities.During my time I:Directly supervised 11 Resident Assistants, 1 Graduate Resident Director, 1 Peer Mentor, and 1 Administrative Assistant, working together to create an inclusive, safe, and developmentally stable living space for up to 1001 students.Responded to crises in the second-tier professional on-call duty rotation for over 5,000 students. Adjudicated student conduct cases in both informal and formal capacities as outlined by the University System of Georgia as a Residential Life hearing office using Maxient software, educational sanctions, restorative justice practices, and appropriate referrals to outside groups.Managed a budget of over $25,000, including funds for staff development, programming, residential learning communities, and supplies.Designed, developed, implemented, and managed fiscal, social and co-curricular initiatives for the Honors Living Learning Community and Global Crossroads International Student Theme Community, including a Student Advisory Board and serving as the lead for the community for faculty and community partners.
