I am a photographer specialising in portraits, including families, children, babies, pets and boudoir.I shoot outside on location and in my home studio using lighting equipment, props and backdrops to create amazing images to cherish forever.

At Denby Pottery, I worked in the Farm Shop Cafe which sells freshly ground coffee, a wide selection of teas and hot / cold food.My main responsibilities were: opening / closing the cafe, ensuring the customers are provided with a warm welcome into the Farm Shop Cafe, serving the customers at the till, preparing their order, stock checking, checking temperatures of food / fridges, waitressing the tables, cleaning the cafe and operating the ovens and dishwasher.I would be in charge of my own time, something which I would say I am highly proficient in as the cafe solely relied on me and one other member of staff.Whilst working here, I had undergone training to become a Barista, something which I had never done before and because of my ability to learn quickly, my customers would say I had been a barista for years!I had the opportunity to use innovation and my creative skills to make exciting new flavour coffee combinations that the customers would be proud of.I worked to strict food hygiene routines to ensure the safety of my customers.At the end of the day, I was trusted to count up the days takings and clean every piece of equipment thoroughly, using my great attention to detail.

I worked in the bakery alone, ensuring all bakery items such as bread, pastries, cookies and frozen items are cooked or defrosted on time for the day. I quality controlled all items and used strenuous hygiene protocols to ensure the food is cooked safely for consumption. I made sure all products are packaged correctly and labelled with the correct 'use by' dates.I worked to a strict schedule as the food is baked fresh on the day and needed to be on the shelves before the customers arrive in the morning.When I am not in the bakery, I also worked on the shop floor ensuring customers are served with a smile. I stocked the shelves and faced up to make sure the goods are well presented, I date checked the goods and dealt with food deliveries.

As a Photosmith at Jessops it is my duty to engage all photo customers and explore their individual needs whilst delivering inspirational selling techniques in store.I assist customers using the kiosks and deliver excellent customer service to complete a sale and hit my targets.It is my responsibility to ensure all photo related products i.e wall art, prints and photo gifts that come through the lab are processed, created on time and quality checked prior to the customer collecting their order.I implement new marketing campaigns such as seasonal promotions and new products through POS and making sure the window displays are to the highest standard.As well as being in store, it is my responsibility to seek new business opportunities outside of the store and work with organisations in the community to promote Jessops Photo services.I also provide content for the Jessops social media pages, design advertisements for the stores and work closely with Photosmiths from different regions sharing my best practice and knowledge.

Being the first full time employee for Mackney Photography, I had touched almost every aspect of the company, I had helped the business grow into new depths with my creative ideas and knowledge. My main job title was Senior Digital Artist. I edited portraits using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom. I managed and trained a small team of editors and worked closely with photographers to achieve high quality and award winning imagery for clients.
