CurrentI. INSTRUCTIONAL MANAGEMENTA. Evaluate and recommend improvement in the purposes, design, and implementation of theinstructional program, as well as other support programs related to the mission of the schoolB. Assist in registration and placement of students by reviewing and evaluating the school program interms of student progress.C. Assist in the development of the school’s master teaching schedule.II. SCHOOL/ORGANIZATION CLIMATEA. Help establish and maintain an environment which is conducive to positive staff morale and directedtowards achievement of the school’s mission in accordance with AISD goals.B. Communicate effectively with students, staff, parents, and community.III. SCHOOL/ORGANIZATIONAL IMPROVEMENTA. Assist in determining a common vision for school improvement; assist in the direction, planning, andsupervision of activities and implement programs toward attainment of the school vision.B. Identify, analyze, and apply research findings to facilitate the school improvement.IV. ADMINISTRATION AND FISCAL/FACILITIES MANAGEMENTA. Assist in compliance with district policies, state, and federal regulations.B. Assist in effective scheduling of the school facility for both school and non-school related activities.C. Assist in managing all school facilities, effectively supervising custodial and security services toensure a clean, orderly, and safe educational environment.V. STUDENT MANAGEMENTA. Attend and represent the school at conference/hearings with the designated Student Servicesrepresentative(s).B. Investigate irregularities in student attendance.VII. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESA. Apply state/district appraisal system appropriately and ensure that evaluations accuratelyrepresent staff performance.B. Confer with staff regarding their professional growth; work jointly with them to develop andaccomplish improvement goals, determine development needs and provide resources for implementingin-service and renewal programs.
