I was a development professional at Santa Clara University, managing a fundraising staff of six, and oversaw the reunion campaign program which grew by over $3 million during my first year to $8.8 million and exceeded $10 million my last full years of the program, on track to do the same in future years. Reunion campaign participation also increased my first full year from 24.68% to 26.88%. I also maintained my presence in the field by creating and coordinating the 55th reunion campaign and serving as PM for select alumni, with solicitation strategies ranging from $5K-$250K. In 2013 and 2014, the reunion campaigns I oversaw raised over $4.5 million, setting both dollar and participation records. My staff was trained to strategically engage prospects – engineering conversations that identify a donor’s personal values and motivations and tailoring their approach accordingly. We aim to meaningfully engage Santa Clara alumni to advance the university's fundraising priorities, working closely with our colleagues across the university.
